The Fork has been in business since 2000 with owner Jim Cogdell at the helm. The Fork, approximately an hour south of Charlotte, received its name because of its unique layout. The property stems from the confluence of two rivers, the Pee Dee River and the Rocky River. The property has a rich history from being the site of a Revolutionary War skirmish to being home to the first sanctioned Ordinary (tavern) in the area, circa 1771. With that in mind, The Fork has held land conservation as the forefront principal driving the business. The Fork offers 1,600 acres of beautifully managed land prime for hosting a large sporting clay event. The Fork looks forward to hosting the NC State Championship shoot and Southeast Regional Championship in 2017. With rolling topography, a mixture of hardwoods and pine timber married with open fields, the property yields the ability to set an exciting variety of targets. We hope you join us for the 2017 Southeast Regional Championship.
