The National Shooting Complex is one of the premier shooting facilities in the world, spanning 671 acres of San Antonio countryside. As the headquarters for the National Skeet Shooting Association and National Sporting Clays Association, it hosts elite tournaments for both sports, including the World Skeet Championships and National Sporting Clays Championship. In addition, it is the venue for a wide range of shooting and non-shooting events for thousands of serious competitors, casual shooters, and outdoors enthusiasts each year.

Our staff is dedicated to the development of shooting sports and firearm safety. They also have extensive experience in event management. If you’re planning a small company outing and all you need is some simple refreshments and a recreational shoot, we can help. Or, if you need facilities for a large competitive or corporate event with full meals, we can do that, too. With the National Shooting Complex’s multi-faceted capabilities, we can design a program specifically to fit your needs.

Although you may feel like you’re out in the country, the National Shooting Complex is only a short drive from the San Antonio International Airport and some of the finest hotels and resorts in the South. As Texas’ number one tourist destination, San Antonio offers something for everyone. With attractions like Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World, and the world-famous San Antonio Riverwalk, your group will have plenty to keep them busy when they’re not out testing their shooting skills at the spectacular National Shooting Complex.

The Fork has been in business since 2000 with owner Jim Cogdell at the helm. The Fork, approximately an hour south of Charlotte, received its name because of its unique layout. The property stems from the confluence of two rivers, the Pee Dee River and the Rocky River. The property has a rich history from being the site of a Revolutionary War skirmish to being home to the first sanctioned Ordinary (tavern) in the area, circa 1771. With that in mind, The Fork has held land conservation as the forefront principal driving the business. The Fork offers 1,600 acres of beautifully managed land prime for hosting a large sporting clay event. The Fork looks forward to hosting the NC State Championship shoot and Southeast Regional Championship in 2017. With rolling topography, a mixture of hardwoods and pine timber married with open fields, the property yields the ability to set an exciting variety of targets. We hope you join us for the 2017 Southeast Regional Championship.
